"A police van accompanied by a smaller police car has just left Akrestsina prison. We suspect that they started transporting people to the city center",- informs Euroradio's listener.
A representative of the BPF office has informed live on air that the volunteers on duty near Akrestsina confirm this information. "Now they are trying to follow the routes of other police vans to know where they transport the released", she added.
A volunteer Alena has told live on air on Euroradio that they planned to meet people near Akrestsina since 6 p.m. "However, there will be people on duty since 12, as everyone understands they will start releasing people earlier. They are supposed to release 250-300 people on the whole".
Several buses and many cars will meet the released in Zhodzina. The majority of prisoners will leave the Akrestsina detention center, several dozens will be released from the Minsk district detention center where they keep women and girls, and some prisoners will go home from the pre-trial detention center in Zhodzina, said Alena.
