Azubalis proposes to establish a new center of the Belarusian opposition
This is the head of Lithuanian diplomacy said in an interview with the non-governmental center Cernegie Europe.
Audronius Azubalis said he was tired to support the Belarusian opposition. According to his words, which "Obzor" daily cites, the Belarusian opposition is disunited, it has no expressive line in preparation for the upcoming elections. The recent release of Sannikov and Bondarenko from prison, says Lithuanian minister, does not mean anything.
According to him, to bring about changes at the EU's eastern neighbors, "is is absolutely necessary to have America in the team". According to the minister, in Eastern Europe democracy is at stake. He therefore suggested the European Union together with the United States to start thinking about the transition board for Belarus.
Azubalis thinks, it is necessary to create an alternative center of power, Euroradio reports.
