Bobruisk strikers are threatened with dismissals

People are going to strike till the end, because there is no sense to stop.

According to Radio Liberty, workers of Bobruisk plant of tractor parts and aggregates, who refused to work on July 10 in protest against the reduction of wages, ended negotiations with the administration of the enterprise. So far, talks were of no avail.

This was reported by one of the tractors assembly shop workers, who went to the plant's administration. According to the worker, when he was trying to figure out the reasons for underpayment of salary, the administration representatives responded with threats:

"The situation we have now is hard. We are threatened. Bullied to dismiss us. We went to the authorities. They badmouthed us. One person has already been transferred to another shop, and they also want to move another one. People are going to strike till the end, because there is no sense to stop".

We remind, on July 9 in Bobruisk plant of tractor parts and aggregates two brigades of tractors assembly shop refused to work.

The reason for protest was the reduction in salaries, workers were deprived of co-payments by 45 percent with no reference to any orders. About twenty people refused to work.

Bobruisk plant of tractor parts and aggregates makes basic components for the entire range of tractors of Minsk Tractor Plant. The enterprise is one of the most successful in Bobruisk. Over three and a half thousand people work there.
