The candidate of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Gramada) Viktar Mikhaseu became a member of the local council of the Baran town of Vitebsk region, reported the party’s deputy chairman Igar Maslousky.
"This election campaign resembled all the previous ones in many polling stations", said the politician.
"Information was not provided by election commissions, observers were allowed to stand at a distance of 3-7 meters away from the tables where votes were counted. Black spin-doctoring was used against our candidates in Brest, which have not happened since 2000."
According to Igar Maslousky, all this "proves the weakness of our rivals, since they have not found any other means of political struggle".
