Still another propaganda "masterpiece" called "Public Policy" has been created by the Belarusian TV for the presidential election.
As follows from the announcement, each of the 12 parts of this panegyric on Alexander Lukashenko will cover various aspects of public policy – economic, housing, youth, cultural, etc.
Official propagandists will show how much the life has improved for the past five years for the inhabitants of the "fragile vessel" carefully carried in the unrelaxing hands of the Belarusian leader.
Perhaps it is this "telemasterpiece" that the head of Belteleradiocompany Alexander Zimovsky meant when he said that it was time to scare Belarusian "swamp".
In his column in "Belarusian News" the chief of the State Television and Radio Company quite sceptically evaluated the results achieved by the team of Alexander Lukashenko in the current election campaign.
Thus, Zimovsky wrote: "Everything is promised. But the percentage of those who has not decided a month before the election is a record for all the 16 years of modern history of Belarus. And I mean the real organisational and propaganda fiasco, not the thrash that is presented to the unassuming public."
In order to remedy the situation, Zimovsky offers to pass to drastic measures: "It's time to scare the "swamp". Do you want to return to food ration tickets? Have you forgotten how the authority wallowed in the mud? Have you forgotten frozen locomotives on the tracks, the Russian packed and ready to leave, and bast shoes? You haven’t?" There you are! Please to the booth..."
