According to Lithuanian diplomats unofficial information, the head of the Belarusian Presidents administration Uladzimir Makei visited Lithuania a few days ago.

Representatives of the Presidents press service claimed that Lukashenkas messenger met the Presidents assistant Darus Semashko. Answering the question who had invited Makei and what the conversation had been about, the Presidents press secretary Linas Balsis said: "The meeting was one of the steps in the series launched by Lithuania as the country presiding in the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe aimed at protecting human rights and the freedom of speech in Belarus".
