Mitt Romney
said in Warsaw.
The Republican candidate for the US presidency, Mitt Romney, continues his visit to Poland on Tuesday, the last visit in his foreign tour. He is expected to meet with Polish president
Bronislaw Komorowski
and Polish foreign minster
Radoslaw Sikorski
.
Romney is reported by media to have chosen a visit to Poland, America's key ally in the region, in an attempt to convince the Polish diaspora in the US he will have a tougher stance on Russia than current American president
Barack Obama.
"In Russia, once-promising advances toward a free and open society have faltered. In a turbulent world, Poland stands as an example and defender of freedom,"
Romney said.
