Belarus Population 10,000 People Down since Jan 2010

The population of Belarus has reduced by 10300 people over the past five months, totalling 9,469,900 as of June 1, 2010.

The highest negative growth (minus 3600 people) was reported in the Vitsebsk region. At the same time, the populatioin of Minsk has grown by 4300 people, according to the National Statistics Committee.
