The former leader of Kyrgyzstan, accused of mass murders, has been in Belarus for two years. He was taken here upon Alyaksandr Lukashenka's personal order.
According to the information provided by the web-site gezitter.org with a reference to the newspaper "Case No.", the ex-president bought a house in the outskirts of Minsk for two million dollars, and keeps a household there. Let us remind you that it was unofficially informed before that Bakiev had lived in one of the President's residences.
It is supposed that Bakiev moved to the private house because of the economic crisis which Belarus has been struggling to survive since 2011.
According to the portal TUT.by , Bakiev obtained Belarusian citizenship back in August 2010 in one of the departments of internal affairs in Minsk. Besides, Belarusian citizenship is granted personally by the state leader upon a personal application.
