On January, 26 police deterred Belarusian and Russian mafia bosses from having a meeting in a restaurant in the vicinity of Moscow.
The criminal lords intended to discuss the situation created after the murder of Aslan Usoyan who went by the nickname "Grandpa Hasan”. The late Usoyan was leader of the enemy gang.
23 participants of the meeting were detained in the small town of Nikolina Gora, Odintsovo district.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the issue of the "coronation" of several underworld bosses was to be resolved at the meeting under the veil of the birthday party. Three natives of Belarus claimed the status of the thief-in-law ("a wise guy"), the Russian MIA reports. Belarusians Aliaksandr Miadzvedzeu (nickname Bear’s Cub), Aliaksandr Bor-Tsimashenka ("Tsimokha") and Pavel Aleksyayevich ("Pasha the Paste") also attended the underworld convention. Searching Mr Aleksyayevich policemen found 1.5 gr of cocaine.
Last year another thief in law, Aliaksandr Kushniarou (Sasha Kushner) was detained and deported to Belarus.
