Yak-130 planes will go into service in 2015.

Belarus lost a training base for airforce pilots after the USSR collapse, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Defence reports. It was decided to create such a base in the aviation faculty of the Military Academy. The purchase of Yak-130 planes will expand training opportunities for pilots, BelaPAN reports.

The Yak-130 is a subsonic jet trainer, light attack aircraft developed by Yakovlev and Aermacchi to replace the Czech-made Aero L-29 Delfín and Aero L-39 Albatros jet trainers.
