Euroradio

Goods made with raw materials imported from outside of the Eurasian Economic Union will not be affected by the price moratorium.

Ministry of Trade and Ministry of Economy adopted a resolution explaning price increases.

The document states that the resolution that froze prices on 19 December last year, is still valid. But there are exceptions - traders can raise prices and avoid the penalties for violation of the law, Yezhednevnik reports.

Thus, manufacturers can raise prices by the amount of change in the value of imported raw materials originating from countries outside the EAEC and received after December 18, 2014. Prices may increase because of the share of imported materials.

At the same time, it is prohibited to increase the prices of raw materials of domestic origin and countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
