The statement was made by the spokesman for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov.

He noted that the pricing formula is “sufficiently mobile” and “all the criteria are known.”

Previously, Vice Premier of Belarus Uladzimir Syamashka and the Deputy Energy Minister of Belarus Vadzim Zakreuski said that there are grounds for reducing the price of Russian gas from January 1. According to Zakreuski, Moscow could sell gas at a discount of $10 per 1 thousand cubic meters. Now the price for Russian natural gas for Belarus is $142.37 for 1 thousand cubic meters.
