The revising of gas supply contracts between Russia and Ukraine will not affect agreements with the other countries, Russian energy minister Sergei Shmatko told the Russian Ria Novosti news agency.

On April 21, the presidents of Russia and Ukraine agreed in Kharkov about the 100-dollar discount for the Russian gas which costs $330 for 1000 cubic meters.

When asked by journalists if Belarus could count on the similar discount, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia is ready to give preferences to real partners, not those who is only declaring partnership.
