The European commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle thinks that Ukraine is unlikely to join the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. He claimed it in an interview with a newspaper "Kommersant-Ukraine" on April 26.
According to Füle, there is no reason to think that the Ukrainian authorities will work in this direction and conduct negotiations about the free trade zone between the EU and Ukraine. Füle noted that the free trade zone and the Customs Union are incompatible.
