Inflation for the first seven months of this year in Belarus amounted to 41%. This is illustrated by the Belstat (National Statistics Committee of Belarus).
The Consumer prices for goods and services in July as compared to June increased by 3.5%. In relation to July of the last year consumer price index was 148.4%.
Most of all, in comparison with the last year, the prices have risen for such foods as potatoes, vegetable oil, fruits, tea and cereals. From among the non-food products such things as jewelry, cleaning supplies, as well as bicycles and motorcycles have significantly risen.
