Belarus May Not Receive Russian Oil at Reduced Price

Euroradio

Belarus may not receive 6.3 million tons of Russian oil at a reduced price if the House of Representatives does not ratify the agreement by February 15. A Russian newspaper "Kommersant" has informed about it.

It is also worth mentioning that the spring parliamentary session will begin only in April and nothing is clear about the special session now. If the deadline of February 15 is missed, the oil will be fully dutiable again and both sides will have to conduct negotiations again.

Let us remind you that the agreement on duty-free supplies of 6.3 million tons of oil for domestic use in Belarus was signed by vice Prime Ministers Igor Sechin and Uladzimir Syamashka on January 27.
