Official survey: 76.6% Belarusians trust Lukashenka

The President’s activities correspond to ‘ordinary people’s’ interests, most pollees said.

76.6% of adult Belarusians trust Alyaksandr Lukashenka. This is the result of an official survey conducted by the information Analytical Centre in august, BELTA reports.

1006 pollees were interrogated; the statistical error may reach up to 3%.

Belarusians were also asked about the efficiency of the government’s work. Most citizens (74.1%) believe that Lukashenka’s work “corresponds to ordinary people’s interests”. 77.1 % of pollees said that Belarus was developing in the right direction. 1608 pollees took part in the survey and the statistical error totalled 2.5%.
