CEC: Lukashenka wins with 83.49%

Aliaksandr Lukashenka has again won the presidential polls in Belarus with 83.49% as preliminary announced by Central Elections Commission.

CEC's chairperson Lidzia Yarmoshyna said Tell the Truth's Tatsiana Karatkevich got 4.42%, Liberal Democratic Party chairman Siarhei Haidukevich - 3.32%, Belarusian Patriotic Party leader Mikalai Ulakhovich - 1.67%. Against all: 6.40% (in Minsk - 20,6%).

In Minsk, Lukashenka has gained 65.58%, Karatkevich - 6.99%, Haidukevich - 3,35%, Ulakhovich - 2,74%.

Euroradio reported earlier 36.05% of voters took part in early voting (national record). This year;s election was declared valid at noon October 11 when the turnout was registered at 51.2%,. The final turnout was announced to reach 87.2%.
