Photo report: Belarusian National Congress

The Belarusian National Congress was held in Minsk on May 15. The city authorities did not allow the organizers rent a hall for the congress and they organized it in the park near the monument to Yanka Kupala.

About three hundred people took part in the action. The congress took about an hour. Its participants decided that the congress powers should be given to the BNC Council. Representatives of regional democratic coalitions will join the council, the initiators of the BNC said.
