Participants of “Immortal Regiment” bring portraits of Stalin to Minsk

A few hundred participants of the Russian action “Immortal Regiment” gather near the RSDLP museum in Minsk on the morning of May 9. Besides the portraits of their relatives who were war veterans, some of the people brought the portraits of Stalin, Lenin, Soviet flags and ribbons of Saint George.

The action participants were not allowed to organize a separate manifestation in the Belarusian capital. They were offered to join the official festivities where Belarusian symbols were used.
