The Foreign Ministry of Belarus has received no diplomatic notes from Kyrgyzstan, seeking to hand over Kurmanbek Bakiyev, the ousted president, Belarus' foreign ministry spokesman Andrei Savinykh said.
When asked about the status of Bakiyev in Minsk, Savinykh stressed that it was subject to a legal procedure and that it was too early to talk about it.
"We have faced with a serious international problem. The solution should be sought for in the framework of the international law system. It will require serious consultations at the levels of experts and politicians", the foreign ministry representative stressed.
