The US President Barrack Obama has prolonged the term of the order about the arrest of the property of a number of representatives of the Belarusian administration situated in the USA.

According to a TV channel "Vesti", the information has been sent to the US Congress. The decree was signed by Obama’s predecessor. Let us remind you that George Bush’s decree was signed on June 16, 2006 and its term was prolonged every year. There are ten people on this special list including the Belarusian President, the secretary of the Security Council, Ministers of Justice and Internal Affairs, heads of KGB, the Central Election Commission and the State Broadcasting Company. The sanctions also affect their family members and business partners.

As Obama stressed, "actions of certain representatives of the Belarusian government and the policy they conduct are still posing a threat to the national security of the USA".
