The airplane Yak-42 crashed during takeoff near Tunoshna airport in the Yaroslavl region of Russia. On board of the crashed plane were 45 people, 43 of them died. Most likely, have died and two Belarusians - Ruslan Salei and Sergey Ostapchuk.

On this plane, the hockey team Lokomotiv (Yaroslavl) flew to Belarus for the match with the hockey club Dynamo (Minsk), which was to be held on September 8. It was supposed to be the match of the first round of the Kontinental Hockey League.


According to preliminary reports, the plane crashed to the ground from a low altitude just after takeoff and burst in flames. Yak-42 crashed on the aerodrome territory. One part of the fuselage fell into the Volga. The cause of the accident is not known yet. Among the versions of crash are the technical failure and the crew's mistake.


One of the two survivors of the plane crash - the hockey player of Lokomotiv Alexander Galimov, he has burns of 80% of the body. In a hospital was delivered another survivor - the flight engineer. His state is also considered to be serious.


The hockey club Dinamo-Minsk will post up the logo of Lokomotiv in the Minsk-Arena, where anyone can lay flowers and place candles.
