Euroradio

The Ministry of Justice has considered the latest congress of the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (Assembly) non-legitimate. All the decisions taken by the congress have no legal force.

According to Radio Liberty, the Ministry's officials have found "a series of violations of the party's charter guidelines, and discrepancies in the filed documents". For example, the BSDP (A) members who live in Homel and Mahileu regions were not nominated as delegates. Apart from that, election of Anatol Sidarevich, who previously left the BSDP (A), as a Chairman of the party contradicts the Belarusian legislation, informs the Ministry of Justice.

Let us remind you that the congress of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Assembly) took place in Minsk on October 10. Anatol Sidarevich was elected as a Chairman of the party. The former Chairman Anatol Liaukovich called the congress non-legitimate.
