KGB identifies Belarusian volunteers from Pahonya detachment

They are unlikely to return to Belarus for fear of repressions, one of the organizers of the Pahonya detachment in Ukraine Igor Guz said.

Some Pahonya members are still at the front lines in Donets Basin but most of the volunteers have been transported to West Ukraine, he said. A few people are in hospital with light injuries, others need psychological rehabilitation after heavy fights (including the fights near Ilovaisk). A few Belarusians have gone abroad and live there now.

All Pahonya members are ready to go back to the front lines if the cease-fire agreement is not followed, Guz added.

There are no victims among Pahonya members now. Belarusians are not fighting only in Panohya. However, there is no information about victims among them, Guz noted.
