Portuguese military inspectors to visit Belarus

They will conduct a selective check-up of military units.

A group of Portuguese military inspectors will visit Belarus on June 16-19. The visit is part of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe.

The groups will inspect a military unit (chosen by the inspectors), BelaPAN reports. It needs to be done according to the Treaty.

The inspectors will check whether the number of tanks and military machines restricted by the Treaty corresponds to the declared number.

Besides Portuguese inspectors, two specialists from Italy and one specialist from Norway, Germany and the Czech Republic are also part of the group.
