The Belarusian Central Election Commission has registered 142 international observers, BELTA reports.
Not all of them have arrived in Belarus, CEC chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna said. About 70 observers will represent the OSCE mission and 72 – the CIS mission, the official noted.
Over a thousand national observers have been accredited in territorial and district election committees and in the CEC, Yarmoshyna reported. They represented various Belarusian political parties and movements.
