MFA: EU border control enhancement not to affect Belarusians

If they have a Schengen visa, there will be no problems.

The enhancement of border control in the European Union will not affect Belarusian citizens travelling in the Schengen area, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Dzmitry Mironchyk said. If Belarusians have valid passports and Schengen visas, they will just need to show their passports when crossing borders.

Many EU member states have to conduct additional check-ups at their borders due to the influx of refugees. The new border control procedure is going to hinder the border crossing for tourists travelling by car and train, BELTA reports.
