Young Front member Zmitser Yushkevich has been fined in Slonim. Policemen came to the young man’s flat and took him to the police office, Radio Liberty reports. He has been jailed for 30 days.
The policemen who detained him did not show any documents and said that it was an order from Minsk, the activist’s mother Iryna Yushkevich said. It is not the first detention for her son, the woman added. The arrest is connected with the election, she believes.
