Lukashenka: Belarus to stick to defensive strategy

Euroradio

Belarus will keep sticking to the defensive strategy in the military sphere, Alyaksandr Lukashenka announced during his visit to Dzyarshynski District electromechanical plant. The strategy means that Belarus should be able to do inadmissible damage to enemies if they decide to attack.

Belarus has all the necessary weapons but the country needs missiles because they can do this ‘inadmissible damage’, Lukashenka said.

The President was shown the work of the missile production system Polonez. Lukashenka saw two machines of the system. However, we should not stop and need to ‘create modern missile systems while sticking to international agreements’, BELTA quotes the state leader.
