Law enforcement officers have confiscated property from 69-year-old Minsk activist Nina Bahinskaya – a microwave and washing machine. They are trying to make her pay the fines for unauthorized street actions. Bahinskaya’s country houses have also been arrested, the website Belarusian Document Centre reports.

Nina Bahisnkaya is a well-known participant of authorized and unauthorized street actions in Minsk. She always brings a white-red-white flag with her. She attended the constituent assembly of the Belarusian National Congress in Yanka Kupala Park on May 15 (in the photo).

Bahinskaya has to pay about 40 million roubles of fines now. The confiscated items belong to her children and grandchildren but law enforcement officers ignored the fact, the activist noted. By the way, she does not attend trials on principle.
