Belarus and USA agree on cybersecurity cooperation

Minister of Internal Affairs Ihar Shunevich and U.S. charge d’affairs Robert Riley discussed the prospects of cooperation in cybersecurity on February 7. The Minister of Internal Affairs noted that Belarus supported the idea of enhancing bilateral cooperation with the USA is all spheres of mutual interest, the MIA press service reports. In particular, the officials discussed the struggle with terrorism and extremism, legalisation of income received by illegal means, illegal migration and corruption.

The intensification of Belarus-USA cooperation in cybersecurity and copyright protection need special attention, the meeting participants think.
