Russian ambassador Babich agrees with Lukashenka: Russian base in Belarus not needed
The Russian Ambassador said that today the armed forces of Russia and Belarus have all the necessary combat capabilities to repel any aggression from any adversary.

The Russian ambassador made the comment during his stay on the territory of the Russian military unit, which is stationed near Hantsavichy, in the Brest region, TASS reports.

“Alyaksandr Lukashenka is absolutely right. The combat capabilities of the Russian armed forces and the Belarusian armed forces are enough to repel any aggression of any adversary. But if, of course, this parity is violated, then, as the head of the Republic of Belarus correctly said, the high commanders will find an effective solution in order to adequately respond to the development of the situation that may occur,” the head of the Russian diplomatic mission in Belarus said.

Thus, the diplomat commented on the statements of Lukashenka that Minsk is against the deployment of a Russian military base in Belarus.
