Kurmanbek Bakiyev has informed journalists that Belarus has offered political asylum to him. The Kyrgyz ex-President has refused, reports Radio "Liberty".
Bakiyev has thanked Alyaksandr Lukashenka who said that the events that took place in Bishkek on April 7 were an unconstitutional coup d'etat.
