CSTO Leaders Wait for Lukashenka Approval to Send Equipment to Kyrgyzstan

The heads of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states have approved a plant of actions to stabilize the situation in the south of Kyrgyzstan, proposed by the secretaries of the Security Council.

Only Alexander Lukashenka has not endorsed the measures, reports the Kyrgyz news agency 24.kg.

According to Alik Arozov, the secertary of Kyrgyzstan's Security Council, Belarus promised to endorse the plan on June 17. If the plan is approved, Kyrgyzstan will receive transport, cargo planes and helicopters.
