Russia's Foreign Minister Siarhej Laurou has called the after-election events in Belarus "absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable".
"We urge to release presidential candidates, journalists, human rights activists, and also two our citizens, who have been presented no official charges yet", — RIA Novosti quotes the Minister's words.
According to him, "Incidents happen in Russia sometimes, too", but that doesn't mean "we should close our eyes to what is happening at our neighbours'".
