The owner of premises suddenly decided to sell his property.

Belarusian Popular Front party may be left without the new legal address.

A month didn't pass after the official presentation of the headquarters in the office center on Kropotkina 93a str., and the owner of premises has changed his plans.

He decided to sell his property and the buyer is going to break the agreement with tenants. This means that the oldest opposition party in Belarus may be deprived of a legal address, and then a state registration.

The BPF chairman Aleksey Yanukevich said UDF.BY, that at the moment they are holding negotiations.

"We were able to turn the office on Kropotkina 93a into the full-fledged center of political life, almost the same one that was in the old headquarters. So this is not just the place for formal legal address. People still come to us, events are held. This what the state power doesn't like", said the politician.

A new owner of the premises denies political motivation in the situation around the BPF office and states that "the decision will depend only on his vision of the business's development".
