It has been said in the special statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the document, the organizers of the Eastern Partnership Summit have applied unexampled discriminative measures to Belarus.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs claims that the organizers have not invited the Belarusian leader to the summit. It is also stated that the participation of the head of the Belarusian delegation in the summit activities has been limited.

According to the Ministry, the actions rudely violate the principles of the Eastern Partnership approved at the first summit in Prague in 2009. The Belarusian diplomatic body thinks that it is impossible to take part in the summit on such terms because no partnership should be based on discrimination.

Belarusian diplomats blame the organizers of the summit for everything. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the decisions concerning Belarus’ interests and made without the country’s consent are illegitimate.
