Will Belarus have to abandon national currency on entry into Eurasian Union?

Creating the Eurasian Union will be one of the main priorities of Vladimir Putin in the next six years.

Told the spokesman of the prime minister Dmitry Peskov to Kommersant newspaper: "Clearly, the creation of the Eurasian Union will be one of the main priorities of Putin in the next six years, especially while taking into account a positive dynamics of the unification process and the large amount of work done over the four years he leads the government".

Russia wants to build the new union already on new principles.

"Countries included in the Eurasian Union should maintain a political sovereignty, but an economical management should be integrated the most", said Dmitry Peskov. According to him, the closest target model of the Eurasian Union - the EU; in particular, Moscow would like to create a single currency of the Eurasian Union with a single emission center.
