Political prisoner was sent to a punishment cell for a smile

On December 21 the political prisoner, a member of the organizing committee for establishment of the Party Belarusian Christian Democracy Jaugen Vaskovich was visited by a lawyer in jail.

Executive secretary Denis Sadouski told the press service of the BCD.

As it became known, on December 14 the commission, which examined whether Jaugen Vaskovich is on the way to reform, was in prison. During the reading of charges on the face of Jaugen appeared a smile, because of their absurdity. For doing this they sentenced the activist to another 10 days in a punishment cell. He will be freed only on December 24.

Also, new details of Jaugen Vaskovich's living appeared. There are 4-12 people together with him in a cell. Sometimes, when Jaugen is not in the punishment cell, they let him to walk outside.

However, despite the torture, Jaugen Vaskovich feels cheerful, he is grateful for the support and congratulates everyone who know him with the upcoming holidays.
