On April, 23, Co-Chairman of the United Democratic Forces (UDF) Anatoly Lebedko applied to Chargé d’affaires of the Czech Republic in the Republic of Belarus Jiří Karas in order to pass the appeal to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg.

According to the politician, he fulfilled the decision of the Presidium of the UDF. Anatoly Lebedko also passed the plan of democratization in Belarus (road map), and the letter with the position of the UDF concerning Lukashenko’s invitation for a European summit in Prague.

I added that the Czech Republic has the right to determine the participants of the summit. But on May, 6, I’ am going to visit mother of Yuri Zakharenko. It will be very difficult meeting, because the invitation of Belarusian ruler for a summit means that the case of kidnapped politicians is no more on the international agenda”, Anatoly Lebedko noted.

According to Anatoly Lebedko, Chargé d’affaires of the Czech Republic noted that the invitation was given not to Lukashenko, but to Belarus. He also expressed confidence that Lukashenko would not arrive in the Czech capital.
