Lukashenka about Ukraine: President's family shouldn't do business

Belsat

Aliaksandr Lukashenka expressed hope that the situation in Ukraine would not have a negative impact on Ukraine’s CIS chairmanship during the meeting with the leaders of several Belarusian mass media outlets on January, 21.

It is curious that state TV, radio and news agencies failed to quote this very statement of his: '[Ukraine is] a fine country, its people are good but there is a mess caused by so called market: clans have divided the country. As soon as a president's children have started running businesses and wives or lovers have set crowns on the heads troubles are sure to pop out of the blue'.

It is not the first time that state-owned media have censored Lukashenka's speeches.
