MP: Martial law bill drafted a year before Ukraine protests

The member of National Security Commission at the House of Representatives Zyhmund Valevach tells Euroradio there is no link with Ukraine.
Zyhmund Valevach: The bill is not connected with Ukraine. It was planned in January 2013 and it was worked on for a year. Everything had just started there when the bill reached the House of Representatives. Ukraine was close to an emergency situation. This bill is about marshal law.
The bill has not been discussed by MPs yet, Zyhmund Valevach noted.
The paragraph "On using weapons, military equipment, special equipment and physical force during martial law" got most publicity.
