The head of the Warsaw-based Belarusian Analytical Workroom Andrei Vardamatsk says pro-Russian attitudes are no longer growing in Belarus.
It happened in June, he noted. “A gradual increase of the pro-Russia orientation was registered before that time,” he said. Nevertheless, about the two thirds of Belarusians believe that a union with the Russian Fedration is better than with the EU, BelaPAN reports.
