In June 2012, court found three Belarusians,a group of Russians and Ukrainians guilty in military cooperation with Gaddafi regime.

They got ten years in prison with hard labor. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that more than 20 citizens of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine had been set free. It is noted that these matters had not been reported because of the "delicacy of the steps taken" and the difficult and dangerous situation in Libya. Names of the released and other details have not been announced.

The Russian side claims that the Russians, Belarusians and Ukrainians have already returned home, says the BBC.
