Yury Chyzh is not the only Belarusian oligarch whom the Belarusian security agencies are interested in. Yauhen Baskin, CEO and owner of the group of companies Servalux (Belarus’ biggest producer of poultry) started having problems on Monday evening. He is in the sixth position on the list of the most successful and influential Belarusian businessmen.
Nevertheless, only unofficial sources have reported Baskin’s detention. KGB has not confirmed the information yet.
“Everything is fine in the company and the factories are working as usual,” Servalux assured on Monday evening and Tuesday morning. The director was said to be away on business.
