Aliaksandr Lukashenka has signed a decree №156 dated April 27 which introduced a visa-free regime for the citizens of the United Arab Emirates.

As BelTA informs, the decree establishes a visa-free entry and exit for the UAE nationals who have a valid passport or other documents for traveling abroad and issued by the relevant government UAE authorities.

Besides, Belarusian visa will not be required for transit through the territory of our country, as well as for temporary stay in the country for a period not exceeding 30 days from the date of entry for people crossing the international border crossing points.

According to the decree, the citizens of the Emirates with valid passports or other traveling documents need to voluntarily register at the actual place of temporary residence, if they are in Belarus for more than 30 days from the date of entry. If they want to stay for a longer period, then they have to extend their stay in Belarus in the order specified by the legislation.
