The center was opened on October 3 in the National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad, Pakistan. The opening was attended by Education Minister of Belarus Mikhail Zhuraukou.

One of the main directions of the center’s activity will be holding training courses for the study of the Belarusian and Russian languages, the press service of the Ministry of Education of Belarus reports.

Interest in the Belarusian education system in Pakistan is large enough, said Mikhail Zhuraukou.

“Our university professors will be coming here. They will also talk about the qualifications which can be obtained in Belarus and about our country,” said Minister of Education.

On October 4-6, Alyaksandr Lukashenka will come to Pakistan on an official visit. It is planned that during the visit there will be signed a memorandum on opening of vocational training centers in Pakistan.

“First, our teachers will come here. Then we will prepare the soil for young people wanting to get interesting professions to be able to come to Belarus for training,” explained Zhuraukou.
