Belarus To Allow Visa-Free Entry For Guests Of Major Music Festival In July
Foreigners with tickets to Slavianski Bazaar will be able to enter Belarus visa-free.

Entrance without a visa will work from 1 to 20 July.

“The decision was made by the head of state a couple of days ago”, director of the International Festival of Arts Gleb Lapitsky told journalists. Guests of the festival will need a ticket and a passport to cross the border.

Visa-free entry is proof that Slavianski Bazaar is a cultural brand of Belarus, the representative of the festival added.

The organizers promise that this year’s edition of Slavianski Bazaar will bring a new touch to the festival’s traditions. The program of the festival is all set.

The International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk is the largest cultural forum in Belarus since 1992. In the two decades of existence, the festival welcomed participants from 63 countries. The various festival events have been attended by 800,000 people.

Visa-free for big events

Recall, that Belarus has also allowed visa-free entry to the participants and guests of the 2nd European Games due in Minsk on 21-30 June 2019. Foreigners from 98 states can enter by any border with a ticket to the Games from 10 June to 10 July.

Besides, Russia has ratified an agreement enabling visa-free travel on its territory for foreigners arriving for the European Games as a big number of people is expected to arrive via Belarus’ neighbor border.
